Judging in St. Paul
Permalink

Unfortunately, one center judge, and Master McKay knows who he is, gave the St. Paul tournament and Region 114 a serious black eye on Saturday.
This judge gave 9.9's to competitors who dropped their weapons. Gave 9.7's to competitors who not only dropped their weapons twice, but missed releases twice. He deducted points for stepping of the ring on forms and weapon forms and after being expressly directed not to by Master McKay.
Unfortunately, all the rounds this judge centered had winners who shouldn't have won and competitors who lost who didn't deserve to.
What should Master McKay do? Not allow this judge to center again. The position of authority is obviously too much for him to handle.
I've withheld this judges name here but have posted it everywhere else with the same message. "Region 114. Restore your integrity and ban this judge from judging!"

I fell this post is not only disrespectful, but a blatant act of insubordination.  There is a chain of command and a proper way to address this issue and proper way to bring this to the attention of you Sir's.  Judging by this post I would have to say that this person is not from Region 114.  Because any person from this region would know how to handle this with respect and in the correct manner.  There is a ton of facts missing from this post.  I know for a fact there is one ring this weekend where someone took 2nd place and drooped their weapon twice.  They took second place because they tied for first place and in the run off they drooped their weapon.  It could very well be a instance like this.  This post is like a winey brat that didn't get their way.  Chief Master Jager has always said that you can say anything to anyone as long as you say it with respect.  This seems to be a leason that you need to learn.  Sir, if you fell this region does not have any integrity then next year stay away from our region when you are hunting for top ten points.  We don't need you to bring down a great weekend with our friends.
